This option allows you to access the complete Values Studies results online. You may browse the variable index and see question texts, frequencies for each answer, crosstabs of each question by country or any other variable, and even graphics. You do not need to be skilled in statistics to get immediate results.
Currently, waves 1 to 4 of the Values Studies are available for online analysis. You may wish to download the WVS2005 Codebook or the Integrated Questionnaire of the 1981-2002 Aggregated Values Surveys first in order to know which countries have asked any given question of the 4-wave integrated data set, and in which year.
The steps to follow in order to analyze the survey are three:
1) Select the study (WVS2005 or 4-wave aggregate 1981-2002)
2) Select the samples to analyze in the first screen
3) Select the variable in the structured index that sorts variables by topic
4) Browse the question text, marginals, crosstabs and graphics.
